The Place I Call Home

So I recently acquired a digital camera, a Canon Rebel T3i! I'm beyond stoked. I've been shooting with only film for roughly 3 years now and I must admit, it's pretty nice having instant results and not having to run all over town to find a place that still processes film (Target no longer does! The shame!). I will always love the unpredictability of film though. My 1959 Kodak Pony will always remain my favorite film camera <3

I'll miss using you more often old girl, but it's time to adjust to the digital era. Here's a peek into my home and my first experiments with the new camera :)

This is my beautiful, quirky home. The local Margarita's is still marked as a police station, the view from the top of our mountain is gorgeous (I can't even imagine the view taxes the owner of this property must pay), and some of the buildings haven't been updated since the 70's, and I love it.
